Kevin Neary, Chairman
Kevin Neary is the founder of ORCA BI and responsible for driving its launch into the self-service, enterprise and mobile intelligence market. Kevin has established strategic partnerships with the senior management of BI operations to craft the next generation of "big data analysis" solutions.
Kevin Neary started his career as sales account manager with the Unisys systems and business consultancy DPP (Holdings) Ltd.; with responsibility for opening new accounts he helped grow the business to become the largest Unisys consultancy in the banking & finance, manufacturing and government sectors in the UK. In 1995 he founded recruitment and outsourcing firm SoftSkills Ltd. which he established as a leading telecoms niche player, until 2001. As founder of the Orca Media Group, he is a strategic investor in transformational models. The focus is on commercializing scientific research in the domains of social networks, intelligent systems, financial mathematics and entertainment. Kevin takes the lead role in product/market definition in collaboration with award winning researchers in Europe and US. He holds a BA (Hons) Markeing and Post Grad Dip in new venture development.
Carmel McLoughlin, Chief Financial Officer
Carmel McLoughlin holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance and following that pursued ACCA. She is currently enrolled with the Institute of Mergers, Acquisitions & Alliances. She is a founder of ORCA BI and responsible for the companys financial and legal matters.
Carmel McLoughlin's experience includes strategic financial management for start-up companies in the Technology and Fine Chemicals industries. She has considerable global financial experience having worked with companies in the US and China. Carmel has more than ten years experience managing large investment portfolios in property and entertainment sector, with a focus on operational planning, investor relations and compliance. Previously based in Brussels where she was employed by paper global leader Sappi Limited as their European Finance Manager.
